As a micro-publisher, devotion to the mainstream does not top our list of concerns. Building readership and developing author careers does. In short, we are dedicated to authors on a mission. We love words thoughtfully written and spoken, because words can lead individuals and communities toward positive change. That's why we invest in stories fit to live by.

What books do we publish?
We, like many avid readers, just want to dive into a good read that's fresh and engaging. However, we are particularly interested in encouraging first-time and/or Christian authors. We publish mystery, fantasy, adventure, science fiction or any quirky genre mix. We also publish Christian literature (apologetic and theological) and will, also, consider intriguing memoirs that highlight purpose and/or life with Christ as Lord. For our consideration, any biblical references must be based on the canonized Christian Bible.
At this time we are not interested in publishing children's books, poetry, how-to, history, travel guide, political fiction, or espionage. Under no circumstances, are we interested in strictly romantic books or anything pornographic.

Manuscript Submission
Regretfully, due to our current commitments to our authors, we are unable to accept unsolicited manuscripts at this time.
True Story Press does not assume responsibility for any unsolicited manuscripts which we may receive. Therefore, it is recommended that sole original copies of any manuscript not be submitted, as we are not responsible for the return of any manuscript (whether sent electronically or by mail), nor do we guarantee a response. More so, in receiving a submission, we do not assume any duty to abstain from publishing a book based on a similar idea, concept or story.
